Sugar Festival 2025

The Clewiston Sugar Festival is an annual celebration in Civic Park, Clewiston that pays homage to the rich history and culture of the sugar industry in Clewiston, Florida.

Over the years our festival has grown into a multi-day event, beginning with sports tournaments and a Miss Sugar Pageant leading up to the main festival day, followed by a Friday Night Kickoff concert with food trucks on festival weekend.

On Saturday, the main festival day, attendees can enjoy free live music concerts, an antique tractor display, a car show, a free kids play park, visit a local baking contest and a professional baking display, plus enjoy the offerings of various food and crafts vendors present.

Here’s what you can expect at this year’s festival:

Start the day off with our 5K & 10K Country Music Run with a lot of hype, great music, and plenty of friends and family on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The race starts promptly at 8:00 am, with “day of” registration and early registration check-in starting at 7:00 am. Visit Clewiston Sugar Fest clewistonsugarfestival.com to sign ups!

Cornhole Tournament kicking off on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 9:00am Tournament will start at 10:00am. $50 per team / $25 Per Person.

Horseshoe Tournament will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025 during the Sugar Festival event. This is an open doubles tournament. All ages welcome. Team Check-In 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Start of Tournament 10:00 a.m. $20 per team.

The SWEET TASTE Competition will be held at the 38th Annual Clewiston Sugar Festival. Saturday, March 15, 2025; St. Margarets Catholic Church Parish Hall; Contestants may be amateurs. Professional chefs, cooks or businesses may NOT enter the contest. Contestants may have more than one entry for judging. Submissions must be home cooked.

Drop Off: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM | Judging: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Public Viewing: 11AM – 1:00PM
